The stunning Kilshane House was the bridal prep location and wedding reception venue for Caroline and Michael’s big day with the local church at Bansha hosting the ceremony itself. This wedding was amazing. The attention to detail by the couple along with the venue made it a wedding to savour. Lyrath Estate is a five star resort just outside Kilkenny City. For wedding couples, this is a venue that is very appealing. It’s service standards are known throughout Ireland and exclusive use of the original house for a couple’s drinks reception is something many other venues don’t have available. When you look through the photographs of this wedding, it is hard to believe that it rained for almost the entire day. We managed to get some outside shots at the drinks reception with everything else captured inside. Christmas has become an extremely popular time to get married over the past few years and 2019 was no exception. Julie and Will chose Bellingham Castle for their reception and what a choice it was. This venue gives full exclusivity to its wedding clients and we do mean full exclusivity. Match that with the top quality client service experience, the stunning grounds incorporating its own river for amazing photographs and video and not forgetting the breathtaking decor, layout and the luxury of the castle itself.
Taking separate rooms in the highly recommended Deeside Manor B&B for their preps, the ceremony took place at the beautiful and unique Woodside Chapel, near Bellingham Castle.
After they tied the knot, it was onwards to Bellingham Castle courtesy of their VW Camper Van supplied by Volksweddings for the bridal party and couple shoot to get the last of the winter light.
A sumptuous drinks reception was followed by dinner in the main function room, speeches, night time shots, sparklers with their guests and dancing till early with Mixtape.
One word. Stunning!

Coolbawn Quay on the shore of Lough Derg was the destination for Deirdre and Darren’s wedding in late August 2019. This lakeside venue is the perfect hideaway and with exclusive access for wedding guests and five star luxury, it had it all.
Coolbawn Quay on the shore of Lough Derg was the destination for Deirdre and Darren’s wedding in late August 2019. This lakeside venue is the perfect hideaway and with exclusive access for wedding guests and five star luxury, it had it all. August’s weather had not been great up to this point but while the day was a little breezy, the rain stayed away and made for a wonderful day at this lakeside venue. Both bridal and groom prep took place at Coolbawn Quay in the beautiful cottages with the ceremony itself taking place a few kilometres away at Pucane. Then it was back to Coolbawn for the bridal party shoot, couple shoot, family photographs, speeches and then into the pavilion for food, entertainment and dancing. This was truly a wonderful day for everyone.

If you are looking for an idyllic beachside venue for your wedding reception, it is hard to beat Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, just outside Clonakilty in West Cork. Nestled on the Wild Atlantic Way, this location, while not as rugged as costal resorts further up the west coast, has its own calm uniqueness. The beach for starters. Or beaches I should say. They are plentiful in the area so great for walks and relaxation with access to the calm waters in the naturally sheltered bay. Aoife and Brian chose this location for all these reasons and when the weather matched, they had a wedding to remember. The preparations were all at Inchydoney Resort, ceremony was about 10 minutes drive away at Rathbarry Church and after some light refreshments in the local pub it was back to Inchydoney for a stunning outdoor drinks reception, dinner, speeches and dancing. This was summers day wedding to remember for a long time. Enjoy the images we are sharing with you.

It was the beauty of Dingle that captured Emma and Aaron’s imagination as a location for their wedding and the County Kerry town didn’t disappoint. They brought a large contingency of family and friends to The Dingle Skellig Hotel for their summer solstice wedding reception. With preparations at the Skellig, the ceremony at St Mary’s church in the town and then back to the Skellig for a long evening and night of fun and dancing, a brilliant day was planned. While Emma and Aaron do not have any family connection to Dingle, it will remain part of their lives forever.

Having worked in Darver Castle at weddings when in her teens, there was never going to be any other venue for her wedding to Daniel. Living outside London, a large group of family and friends joined local family and friends and together they created one of the best weddings of 2018. It was laughter and fun all the way. With both ceremony and reception on the grounds of Darver, they maximised the time with family and friends and what a day and night was had by everyone, young and old. Even the sun played along creating a magnificent golden hour that lasted just a few minutes and we took full advantage.

Clare and Tipperary united at this stunning wedding in Borrisoleigh of Clare native Ronan with Tipp lady Pamela. Spring sunshine greeted them before and after the ceremony and then it was on to the magnificence of the lakeside Ashley Park outside Nenagh. There was a serious amount of fun and laughter in the air and we captured great couple shots and bridal party images as well as fabulous family portraits with the lake and gardens as backdrops. The marquee came alive as night fell and the beauty of this location showed itself even more as the light disappeared.

When a wedding party made up mainly of Australians descends on Killarney you know its going to be great. The magnificent backdrop at Gougane Barra on the Cork and Kerry Mountains was just breathtaking for the wedding ceremony and the magic happened right afterwards when the wind dropped and nature showed its true beauty. A stop at the highest pub in Ireland added to this amazing wedding and then it was back to The Muckross Park Hotel for the reception and party time. Photographs had to be quick as the light was fading fast. Maura spoke to us at length during her preparations to ensure we had the best possible light to work in given the time of year, 28th December and it all worked out beautifully.

Bijou’s dad, Alex, walked her from the castle to the ceremony in the formal garden where Adam waited. The magnificence of the setting along with a stunning bride and groom made for a spectacular wedding presided over by Áine of Celebrate Love. Just amazing.
